CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington University has announced its 2026 Women's Soccer schedule, this upcoming campaign will have the Eagles travel to play new opponents while also hosting key matchups on their home field.
The Eagles open the 2026 season with an exhibition contest in Cheney, beginning against Washington State on Aug. 6 before hosting Mount Royal University on Aug. 12. The Eagles then have another matchup at home on Aug. 15 when they welcome Bucknell.
The first road trip of the year takes Eastern to Illinois for matches against the University of Illinois Chicago on Aug. 20 and Western Illinois on Aug. 23. The Eagles return to Cheney the following week to host Cal State Bakersfield on Aug. 30.
September features a trio of nonconference matchups, including home contests against Wyoming on Sept. 6 and Grand Canyon on Sept. 13. Eastern will then travel to Colorado Springs to face Air Force on Sept. 20.
The Eagles conclude their nonconference schedule on Sept. 25 with a home matchup against Oregon State. The slate provides a blend of regional opponents, home-field opportunities, and road challenges as Eastern Washington prepares for conference competition.
Eastern Washington opens Big Sky Conference competition with back-to-back home matches, welcoming Idaho State on Oct. 1 before facing Weber State on Oct. 4 in Cheney.
The Eagles will then spend the next two weeks on the road, taking on Northern Arizona on Oct. 8 and Northern Colorado on Oct. 11.
Following a pair of bye dates on Oct. 15 and Oct. 18, Eastern returns with consecutive home contests against Southern Utah on Oct. 22 and Utah Tech on Oct. 25.
The regular-season road schedule concludes with matches at Montana on Oct. 29 and Portland State on Nov. 1. Eastern Washington then closes the conference season at home against Idaho on Nov. 5 before heading to Missoula, Montana, for the Big Sky Tournament, which will be hosted by Montana.
Featuring several regional rivals and important conference contests, the 2026 schedule gives the Eagles numerous opportunities to strengthen their standing ahead of postseason competition.
