SPOKANE, Wash. - The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team made the short visit to Spokane today to face Gonzaga, where they ultimately fell 7-0. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 0-6 overall while the Bulldogs improve to 4-3.

"I'm very proud of the grit and effort we showed on-court today. It's not easy to be short-handed going into a match but we continue to focus on the process and we are learning to grow in the tough moments," said head coach Dustin Hinson. "It's easy to get caught up in the results and to let the losses get us down. But this team continues to impress me with their desire to improve and their ability to keep their heads up and never quit. We are excited for another chance to compete tomorrow at home and we will be ready to 'let it fly'."

Isabella Foshee fought hard against the Zags at the No. 4 spot, defeating her opponent in set two before dropping the final set, 10-5.
