The second day of the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational concluded on Friday for Eastern Washington women's golf in St. George, Utah. Freshman
Kami Twining had a solid day on the course posting a 72 and sits tied for No. 19 on the leaderboard.
"Kami played really well today. She hit the ball consistently and putted great," head coach
Brenda Howe said. "We were able to move ahead of a team, move into a tie with another, and closed the gap to just two strokes from Montana. Tomorrow will be a day where we hopefully can put 4 good scores together and move up the leaderboard a little."
Twining posted two birdies in the second day of competition at Sunbrook Golf Course.
Eastern Washington heads to the final day of the Lady Thunderbird Invitational tomorrow, teeing off at 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
