CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington University Director of Track and Field Erin Tucker announced the program's first group of 2024 commitments on Friday. Tucker and his staff have signed 10 future Eags since the NLI signing window opened on Nov. 8.

This initial group of 10 includes nine women and two men, three sprinters/hurdlers, two middle/distance runners, one jumper, one multi-event athlete, one pole vaulter (who also competes in the long jump) and two throwers.

Track and Field can add to their class until Aug. 1, 2024.

Cerae Mahabeer

Lexi Meyer
Hometown: Olympia, WA
Events: 800m / 1500m
Coach Sam Read: Lexi is a very talented multi-sport athlete who has decided to focus her athletic goals into collegiate running. Though she is already running fast track times, I'm really excited to see what she can do once she starts putting all of that drive into running!
