CHENEY, Wash. — The Big Sky Conference named
Manthita Wague Women's Field Athlete of the Week following the opening weekend of outdoor competition, marking the first weekly honor of her career. Wague turned in a strong performance at the Sam Adams Classic, earning a first-place and second-place finish.
She won the triple jump with a mark of 12.18m (39-11.50), moving into fourth on Eastern Washington's all-time list, and placed second in the long jump with a leap of 5.55m (18-2.50).

Erin Tucker. "Getting her run in and earning Athlete of the Week honors is awesome, and we're excited to see what she has in store for the rest of the season."
