SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The second round of the 2023 Big Sky Golf Championships has wrapped up for today (April 18) and Eastern Washington women's golf moved up one spot to fifth on the team leaderboard. The team had a total score of 297 on Tuesday and carries a 595 score for the tournament.
"Today was another good day. Our finish, as a team, was a lot stronger and we were able to move up a spot on the leaderboard," head coach
Brenda Howe said. "Things can change quickly on the course, so it'll be important for us to maintain our composure and finish this tournament strong. Jaelin [Ishikawa] once again played great. Unfortunately, you don't get to play defense in this sport, and she moved down to second, but only because of a solid performance from Sac. State's player. I'm excited to see how she responds tomorrow."Â
