BOZEMAN, Mont. — The halfway point of the 2024 Big Sky outdoor championships has been crossed and Eastern Washington University has already found its way onto the podium. Eastern grabbed two medals with

"I loved seeing Tuti [Smith] get fifth in the LJ for her first time scoring in the Big Sky! Coach Jo's group has been cooking this weekend!"
Simmons continues to separate as the top jumper in the Big Sky, winning the long jump today after a 6.18m mark. The junior now has the outdoor and indoor long jump title after winning the latter back in February.

My man Cody has been third the last two Big Sky meets and ends his career with second place and his best finish ever in college at a conference championship! I loved to see it and I am happy for Coach Jo as well, her and Coach Jake have done an amazing job with the multis this year! Speaking of which, Colin Hughes in the first decathlon in his life gets seventh to follow up his indoor seventh place finish in the conference. Great start to his career at Eastern, the future is bright! Watching these guys fight the last two days, during four different seasons, was encouraging for the rest of the team.
