CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington women's basketball is building the roster of the future as the team signed three future Eagles on National Signing Day. Head coach
Joddie Gleason announced the signing of three players for the 2026 class earlier this month, as Jada Davis, Grace DeHoog and Nevaeh "Deets" Parrish all signed their letters of intent. The group provides scoring and a winning mentality to the roster for next year's EWU team.
"All three of our 2026 signees have won state championships in high school and will bring that winning pedigree to EWU," Gleason emphasized. "They all have competed on top club programs in the pacific northwest and played with or against the best in the nation. This class has already meshed with our current roster and will continue to elevate the program. Eag Nation will love getting to know them and their families!"
Jada Davis | Guard | 5-8 | Gallatin HS | Bozeman, Mont.
Jada will join the Eagles after a prolific career at Gallatin High School. As the four-year starter at point guard, Jada is already the all-time points leader in girls basketball history and is set up to be the school's all-time leader, boys or girls. The prototype of a two-way player, Jada is a two-time Co-Most Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year in Montana, adding a Co-Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year as a junior. She has earned first team All-Conference, first team All-State and All-State Tournament team in each of her three prep seasons.
With Jada filling up the stat sheet last season, Gallatin won the 2025 Montana 2A State Championship. During her junior season, Jada broke the single-game school record with 33 points scored. She also set the record with 436 points in a single season; a record she previously set as a freshman(420).
In addition to her athletic success, Jada is a three-time Academic All-State selection. Jada is undecided on a major when she begins at EWU, but has professional goals of becoming a coach.
Gleason on Davis
"We are excited to have Jada join the program next year! She is a combo guard who has been a prolific scorer from all three levels in Montana, breaking numerous records and filling up stat sheets. She has a high basketball IQ, who can distribute as well as score herself, while also making plays at the defensive end. Her competitive fire and work ethic will fit into our system and style of play extremely well."
Grace DeHoog | Forward | 6-2 | Nooksack Valley HS | Sumas, Wash.
Grace will stay in-state for college after being a driver of Nooksack Valley High School's team success the past three years. Last season, Grace averaged 14 points and 13 rebounds per game, adding two assists and nearly two steals a game. In the 2025 season, Grace earned 1A All-State second team honors and All-Northwest Conference first team honors. Nooksack Valley won the 1A State Championships in 2023 and 2024.
Along with being a standout in basketball, Grace played for Nooksack's volleyball and fastpitch softball teams.
When she arrives at Eastern, Grace plans on majoring in education with the goal of becoming a teacher in the future.
Gleason on DeHoog
"We are thrilled to have Grace join the family! She brings length and athleticism to our backcourt and will provide scoring, shot blocking ability and rebounding to our squad. Her ability to rebound outside of her area is a key to her success. Her work ethic and personality fit in perfectly with our culture already and we can't wait to get her on campus."
Nevaeh "Deets" Parrish | Guard | 5-8 | A.C. Davis HS | Yakima, Wash.
Deets will join the Eagles as another Washington product, putting together a stellar career at A.C. Davis High School. In 2025, Deets helped guide A.C. Davis to the 4A state championship, the first in the program's history. Davis was ranked No. 1 for the entire season. Individually, Deets earned first team All-Big 9 Athletic Conference honors for the '24-'25 season.
An all-around athlete, Deets competed for the A.C. Davis volleyball and cross country teams while attending the school.
Next fall, Deets plans on majoring in Psychology and wants to pursue a career as a Criminal Psychologist.
Gleason on Parrish
"We are so happy that Deets is an Eag! She is a long and athletic guard who has competed at the highest levels and has a winning mentality. Deets has exceptional court vision and has the ability to create scoring opportunities both for herself and her teammates. She is a great teammate and leader and will fit into the program well."
