CHENEY, Wash. — After an impressive offensive surge this past week, Delani Walker has been named Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference earlier today. The honor marks the first weekly award of her career.
 
Walker played a pivotal role in both of Eastern's matches in Hawaii. She netted two goals against Hawaii Pacific, powering the Eagles to a convincing 3-0 victory, while adding another score in a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Hawaii. Her three goals over the two-match stretch showcased her consistency and ability to deliver in key moments.
 
With five goals on the season, Walker currently leads the Eagles in scoring and continues to establish herself as one of the Eagles most offensive threats. Her performance has been a catalyst for Eastern's success early in the year, sparking confidence across the lineup.
 
Walker and the Eagles will look to keep their momentum going as they return home this weekend. Eastern is set to face Pacific on Sunday at 1 p.m. at EWU Soccer Field.
