The Kelowna, B.C. native concluded his EWU career in November and finished with 117 receptions, 1330 yards and 11 touchdowns. In his final season as an Eagle, Ulm had 27 receptions for 228 yards and one touchdown.

In the 2022 season, Ulm caught an 89-yard touchdown pass against Idaho in Moscow, the ninth-longest passing play in EWU history.

Ulm was selected as a team captain in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
