2026 Football Signing Day show to air on SWX Feb. 4

Fans can hear from the Eastern Washington staff on the entire 2026 recruiting class

CHENEY, Wash. — The year is 2026 and Eastern Washington football has cemented its recruiting class for the year. 

Eastern Washington partners with SWX for the National Signing Day Show next Wednesday (Feb. 4) at 12 p.m. The team will unveil its full '26 recruiting class on the second National Signing Day, with the show running to approximately 1 p.m. The host of the show is the voice of the Eagles, Larry Weir.


Fans can also stream the show live on
SWXLocalSports.com. A rebroadcast of the show will air on SWX later that day at 5:30 p.m. 

SWX is available in the Spokane area via over-the-air channel 6.2 or Comcast channel 112 or 306.


The show will include interviews with EWU head coach Aaron Best and his assistants as they cover the new group of Eagles on their way to Cheney. 


EWU
signed 14 new players this past December during the early signing period. The December class included nine three-start prospects and five players from Washington. Feb. 4 will be the final date for prospective football student-athletes to sign

Eastern's 2026 season begins on Aug. 29 against Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. The team's home opener is the following week, Sep. 5, against Northern Iowa.
