FARMINGTON, Utah — After a breakout sophomore season on the court, Zoe Pradel has earned her first career postseason award, earning All-Big Sky singles second team honors.

Playing primarily at No. 3 singles, Pradel posted a 5-3 record against Big Sky opponents and was 11-8 overall this season. Her five conference and 11 overall wins tied for the EWU team lead.

Pradel was 9-6 overall at the third spot, while going 1-0 at No. 2 and 1-2 at No. 4. She is currently on a three-match winning streak, going back to early April for her last loss against Portland State.

The Toulouse, France native played all season efficiently, with nine of her 11 victories ending in two sets, including four against conference opponents.

Along with singles, Pradel found success in doubles, playing alongside Olivia Marais at the No. 1 spot. Pradel and Marais carried a 4-3 conference record and 7-9 overall.

Pradel holds a 16-19 career singles record after two seasons playing for the Eagles.

Eastern begins its postseason competition tomorrow as the No. 4 seed in the Big Sky Championships. EWU plays the No. 5 seed Idaho at 8 a.m. in Phoenix, Ariz.
