CHENEY, Wash. — The Eagles are headed to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the NCAA West First Round following a series of standout performances throughout the 2026 outdoor season.
Alex Blecha put together an impressive campaign in the pole vault, highlighted by a Big Sky Conference title. He added three more event victories and a third-place finish during the outdoor season and currently ranks No. 37 in the NCAA West Region.
Merci Migani delivered a strong season in the triple jump, earning a runner-up finish at the Big Sky Conference Championship while recording four additional top-three finishes throughout the year. Migani enters the NCAA West First Round ranked No. 41 in the region.
Maddy Shekhawat capped off a dominant regular season with a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at the Big Sky Conference Championship. She collected two event victories during the outdoor season and currently sits No. 32 in the NCAA West Region.
Logan Ashbeck recorded a sixth-place finish in the javelin at the Big Sky Conference Championship and secured two event wins during the outdoor campaign. Ashbeck heads into the regional round ranked No. 44 in the West Region.
Jordyn Grady earned bronze in the 400-meter hurdles at the Big Sky Conference Championship and tallied three podium finishes throughout the season. Grady currently ranks No. 42 in the NCAA West Region.
Cort Gebbers highlighted his outdoor season with a third-place finish in discus at the Big Sky Conference Championship while also collecting four event victories throughout the year. Gebbers enters the NCAA West First Round ranked No. 47 in the NCAA West Region.
