The Culican, a Mexico native, closed the CDA National with a 72, shooting three birdies.

Gil Leyva transferred to Eastern in the offseason from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. He spent three seasons in Edinburg, Texas, competing for the Vaqueros, earning multiple top-30 finishes.

Last season, Hogan Park earned Co-Big Sky Golfer of the Week during the final week of the regular season.

EWU finished 8th at the CDA National Reserve, its first home tournament since resuming Division I competition. It was the first DI tournament in the area in over 20 years.

The Eagles are off this week, but resume competition on Oct. 5 at the Oregon State Invitational. The tournament runs from Oct. 5 through Oct. 6 at the Trysting Tree Golf Course.
