Park earns Co-Golfer of the Week after Top-10 finish

Hogan Park played at a high level on the west side to start the week

FARMINGTON, Utah — Following a top 10 finish earlier this week, Hogan Park earned his first career Big Sky Co-Player of the Week award. Park shares the award with Idaho's Josh McCartain. The two tied on the individual leaderboard at the Redhawk Invitational that concluded on Tuesday.

Park opened the Redhawk Invite with a season-best 68 score. He followed up with a 74 in round two before closing with another under-par round of 70. For the tournament, Park was -4 with 212 total strokes, placing him in a five-way tie for sixth.

During the season, Park has displayed consistency for the Eagles. At the UC San Diego Invitational in La Jolla, Calif., Park shot E (216) to tie for 25th. He placed in a tie for 13th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate and tied for 23rd at the Bandon Dunes Championship earlier in the spring schedule.

In the fall, Park had a low 54-hole score of 215 at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, also recording a 36-hole low of 144.

Eastern plays its final regular-season tournament in two weeks at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky. The event starts on April 13 and ends on April 14.
