CHENEY, Wash. -- The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team heads to California this week for their two match road trip against UC Irvine (March 24) and CSUN (March 26). The Eagles return to play after their victory over Portland State, 6-1, last Sunday. EWU currently has an overall record of 7-7 and 4-1 in Big Sky Conference play.
"We are looking forward to spending some time training and playing matches in California over spring break," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "I look at this trip as an opportunity for us to prepare for the last push of the regular conference season. We know that we have some very tough matches coming up to finish the season and we want to use the matchplay and training conditions over spring break to finish strong. We play a couple of tough California teams over the break and we are motivated to bring our best effort and energy to each match."

The Anteaters have an overall record of 12-4 with just four losses against; Siena (4-3), Bryant (1-6), Hawai'i (1-6) and Illinois State (1-4).
