"We are staying positive and using each match as a stepping stone to build upon each week. We are continuing to grow and we are getting stronger with each match that we play, I'm encouraged by that," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We are focusing on the bigger picture and the greater vision for what we are building as a program. That requires a deep trust in our process and each student athlete on our team has bought into that process and brings that mindset to the court each day. We learned a lot from our last match and we are looking forward to applying it on court this week in Oregon."
The Eagles sit 0-3 overall with four non-conference matches left before beginning Big Sky Conference play. Freshman
Kenzington Mann currently holds a two-match winning streak after picking up a comeback win against South Dakota last Friday at No. 5 singles. Freshman
Isabella Foshee also battled for victory in a three-set match tie breaker against Washington back in January to hold a 1-0 record at No. 4 singles.
Additionally,
Yasmin Mansouri and
Isabella Foshee are coming off a win after teaming up at the No. 1 doubles spot to take down South Dakota, 6-1. Sophomore
Renata Gabuzyan doubled up with
Jennifer Kida at No.3 to also find success in a 6-4 win.
