FARMINGTON, Utah — Eastern Washington men's basketball player
Ethan Price has been named to the 2023-24 Big Sky Preseason All-Conference Team, as voted on by coaches and media. Price, a junior forward out of Bury St. Edmunds, England, was one of only six players selected.
Coming off an Honorable Mention nod to last year's All-Conference Team, this is Price's first preseason recognition. He started all 34 games for EWU a season ago, averaging 9.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He has played in and started 68 games as an Eagle. He was named Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year following the 2021-22 season.
The Eagles won the Big Sky Regular Season Championship a season ago after posting a 16-2 league record (23-11 overall), including a conference and program-record 18-game winning streak. They earned an upset win at Washington State in the opening round of the 2023 National Invitation Tournament (NIT), marking the second NIT win in program history.
Weber State's Dillon Jones earned Big Sky Preseason MVP honors, marking the first time the award has been a fully unanimous vote.
