Broncos top Eagles Saturday evening

Eastern Washington dropped its second weekend match in Boise

BOISE, ID — Eastern Washington men's tennis wrapped up its road trip to Boise on Saturday evening against the hometown team, Boise State Broncos. Eastern fell to the Broncos, 7-0, and now drop to 0-4 on the season. 

In the doubles round, Arshjot Bhatti and Drew Dillon earned a win for the Eagles at the No. 2 spot. The duo topped Boise St.'s Jan Lucca Marquardt and Kyvan Rietkerk, 6-4. EWU dropped the other two doubles matches, losing the point. 

Dillon forced a tiebreaker at the No. 3 spot against Caden Moortgat. Dillon dropped the first set, but came back to win the second 6-4. Dillon fell in the tiebreaker, 10-6.
