Eagles honor Sarlvik, fall in final home match

Sacramento St. swept Eastern on Sunday morning

CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington men's tennis hosted Sacramento State in its final home match of the season. The Hornets defeated the Eagles, 7-0, as EWU now falls to 0-6 in the Big Sky and 0-15 overall. 

Eastern senior, Erik Sarlvik, was honored pre match in his final time playing in Cheney. 

Caden Kammerer fought hard against Mate Voros, forcing a tiebreaker in the third set. Kammerer ultimately fell in two sets to Voros. 

Arshjot Bhatti also pushed Jiri Novak to tie breaker in their second set. Bhatti dropped the match against Novak in two sets.
