CHENEY, Wash. — In the heat of summer, Eastern Washington football is focused on the 2024 season. The Eagles begin their fall camp on Tuesday, July 30, with 22 practices planned including two scrimmages. Eastern's rookie class reports on July 28 and the veterans report a day later on the 29th.
Fall camp practices will be held on the EWU Sports and Recreation fields from July 30 through August 13. The team will then shift to Roos Field from August 14th through the 24th.
EWU will practice Tuesday through Sunday, with Monday being the team's off-days. Practices will run from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 for the majority of camp, with the final two (Aug. 23-24) starting at 4 p.m. and going to 5:45.
Eastern's two scrimmages on Roos Field are scheduled for Thursday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 21. The first scrimmage begins at 1 p.m. and the second at 3:30.
The time and location of all practices and scrimmages are tentative and subject to change.
The Eagles are returning 40 letter-winners from the 2023 team, with eight starters on both offense and defense.

Media availability during fall camp will be on the field immediately following practice on the following dates (approximate times listed). These are for working media only. Please confirm practice times and location prior to departure for campus and contact the Athletics Communications staff with additional inquiries.

Following the conclusion of fall camp, media availability will resume during pre-practice on Tuesday afternoons in the Reese Room.
Big Sky Kick-Off
The Big Sky Conference football Kick-Off weekend will take place at Northern Quest Resort and Casino from July 20-22, with media day on Monday (July 22). Eastern Washington will be represented by head coach Aaron Best, senior wide receiver Nolan Ulm, and senior defensive lineman Brock Harrison.
The Big Sky Hall of Fame dinner will be held on Saturday night (July 20) at 7 p.m., where former Eagle quarterback Erik Meyer will be inducted. Tickets for the event can be purchased online through the Big Sky link here.
