CHENEY, Wash. - Eastern Washington men's tennis hosted Weber State out in the sun on EWU Tennis Courts on Saturday morning for the second straight day with a conference match. The Wildcats defeated Eastern, 6-1, winning the doubles point and five singles matches. EWU falls to 1-4 in the Big Sky and is now 4-15 overall. Weber St. improves to 8-11 overall and 4-3 in conference.

Tyler Waddock delivered the singles win for the Eagles at the No. 1 spot, defeating Tristan Sarap in two sets (6-4, 6-4). Waddock remained focused through two sets and prevented Sarap from taking the lead at any point in the match.

In doubles, Drew Dillon and Arshjot Bhatti, playing at No. 2, knocked off Jordan Coutinho and Liam Day 6-3.

The doubles point came down to the No. 1 match as Waddock and Tyler Dalos faced Ken Minh and Connor Kruger. Waddock and Dalos battled the Wildcats duo, but could not break through for the win and secure the doubles point.
