Women's tennis rounds out the week on the road, heading to Portland to face the Vikings.

Track and Field – at UNLV Rebel Elite (Friday - Saturday, April 3-4,  All Day), at Peace Meet (Friday, April 3, All Day)

The Eagles will split their squads this week, traveling to Las Vegas, Nev., for the UNLV Rebel Elite, held Friday and Saturday, April 3–4, while the remainder of the team competes closer to home at Whitworth's Peace Meet on Friday, April 3.

Eastern is coming off a strong opening weekend that saw Manthita Wague earn Big Sky Field Athlete of the Week honors. She captured the triple jump title at the Sam Adams Classic with a mark of 12.18m (39-11.50), moving into fourth on EWU's all-time list, and added a runner-up finish in the long jump at 5.55m (18-2.50).

As a team, the Eagles opened the outdoor season in dominant fashion, recording 17 personal records and sweeping both team titles with 72 points on the men's side and 69 on the women's side.

The men were powered by event victories from Erick Simpson (400m), Toren Garcia (400m hurdles), Owen Higgins (1500m), and Marcus Lemon (5000m). Both relay squads excelled, with the 4x100m and 4x400m teams earning wins. In the field events, Cort Gebbers (discus), Jason Nwaka and Koda Woodard (shot put), Pry'nce Millman (long jump), Merci Migani (triple jump), and Alex Blech (pole vault) all delivered top finishes.

The women mirrored that success with standout performances across the board. Jordyn Grady (400m hurdles), Emma Tomlinson (1500m), and Sara Sanders (5000m) each claimed victories, while the 4x400m relay team also took first. In the field, Anne Shipp (high jump), Zoe Dunn (long jump), and Wague (triple jump) led a dominant showing, highlighted by a sweep of the top five spots in the triple jump and multiple marks that moved into EWU's all-time rankings.

Women's Tennis - at. Portland State (Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m.) - at Idaho State (Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m.)

EWU will look to bounce back Saturday against Portland State at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center, with first serve set for 10 a.m.

The Eagles enter the match 8-7 overall and 2-2 in Big Sky Conference play, having lost three of their last four contests.

In their most recent outing, EWU fell 6-1 to Northern Arizona. Freshman Aneliss Zamfirescu provided the lone point for the Eagles, defeating Mia Wolter in straight sets, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. The win marked Zamfirescu's second conference singles victory of the season and her seventh overall.
