LEXINGTON, Kent. — Eastern Washington men's golf traveled to Kentucky this week for the Bluegrass College Invitational, hosted by the University of Kentucky. EWU placed 17th in the tournament, shooting 927.

Jason Bustos led the Eagles with a best round of 75 (+4) and tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard, shooting 224 (+12) for the Tournament. Bustos scored his best round of the season in the closing 18.

Lucas Hughes finished behind him and posted a solid tournament, shooting 231 (+18). Hughes finished with a final round of 76 (+5).

The University of Kentucky finished at 858 (+6) to claim the team title. Kentucky's Cole Stockard and Marquette's Vinny Cervantes tied for the individual title, shooting a 213 (E) each. 

Up Next
Eastern has a break before they compete at the Big Sky Conference Championships. The Conference Championships take place at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The tournament runs from April 27th (Monday) through April 29th (Wednesday).
