FARMINGTON, Utah — One year back into competition and Eastern Washington men's golf is building its trophy case.
Cal Anderson was named Big Sky Freshman of the Year, announced by the conference today. Anderson also earned a Big Sky All-Conference Honorable Mention in his first season. Hogan Park earned Big Sky All-Conference second team honors, giving Eastern two postseason award recipients.
Throughout his first collegiate season, Anderson produced steady results for the Eagles. Anderson has played 18 rounds with an average score of 73.2 in nine tournaments this season. The Wenatchee, Wash. native's top performance was at the Palouse Collegiate in Pullman, where he placed 23rd on the individual leaderboard. Anderson posted his season best 18-hole score (67), 36-hole score (137) and 54-hole score (209).
Earlier this month, Anderson tied for 37th at the Redhawk Invitational in Seattle, Wash. He closed the tournament out with a third-round 73.
Park showed the poise of a veteran during the 2025-26 season, playing 18 rounds with an average score of 73.8. At the Redhawk Invite, Park earned a top-10 finish, placing 10th on the leaderboard. Park registered career-bests at the tournament for his 18-hole (69), 36-hole (142), and 54-hole (212) scores.
The Eastvale, Calif. added a 25th-place finish at the UC San Diego Invite earlier this spring. Park carded a 69 in the final round.
The Big Sky Conference Championships begin tomorrow (4/27) from the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Eastern Washington competes for three days in the postseason tournament, finishing on Wednesday (4/29).
