CHENEY, Wash. – Head coach
Dan Monson has announced the addition of transfer Jamil Miller from Kennesaw State to the EWU roster for the 2026-27 season.
"Jamil will be an immediate impact piece for us in 2026–27," said Monson. "His ability to defend, rebound and score in a variety of ways will translate right away. Starting 27 games in Conference USA as a true freshman speaks to both his mental and physical toughness. We're excited to bring Jamil back home to Spokane County."
Miller arrives from Kennesaw State but is no stranger to the Spokane area. A product of Gonzaga Prep, he earned All-Conference honors as a freshman before being named League MVP as a sophomore. As a senior at Combine Academy, he was selected to the All-State First Team and earned National Tournament MVP honors.
During his freshman season at Kennesaw State (2024–25), Miller started 27 games, averaging 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He added 21 steals, 15 blocks, and totaled 158 rebounds on the year, showcasing his versatility on both ends of the floor.
