CHENEY, Wash. – Eastern Washington Eagles men's basketball head coach
Dan Monson announced the addition of Isak Homelius to the Eagles' roster for the upcoming season.
A native of Huskvarna, Sweden, Homelius joins Eastern Washington after one season at Western Texas College, where he emerged as one of the top scoring guards in the conference.
As a freshman, Homelius started 18 games and appeared in 26 contests while averaging 17.3 points per game. He totaled 451 points on the season while shooting 41 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range, and 78.9 percent from the free throw line.
In addition to his scoring ability, Homelius contributed 59 rebounds, 54 assists, and 17 steals during his freshman campaign.
"We are excited to welcome Isak to Cheney," said Monson. "He's a proven scorer who is coming off an all-conference season in one of the top JUCO leagues in the country. His shooting ability and basketball IQ will immediately translate to this level and we feel confident he has all the intangibles to earn a big role for us."
Homelius gives the Eagles another skilled perimeter threat with the ability to impact the game both on and off the ball as Eastern Washington continues to build its roster for the 2026-27 season.
