CHENEY, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team looks forward to hosting Weber State this weekend (Feb. 24). The Eagles are 5-3 overall and 1-1 in conference going into the match.
The match will take place inside the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse on the EWU campus and is open and complimentary to the public.
Eastern is coming off a weekend against Northern Colorado and North Dakota where they were 1-1 in two close matches. After falling to Northern Colorado 3-4, the Eagles came back to beat North Dakota 4-3 the following day. The matches featured some notable wins by Jeremy Field, Scott Paz and Flavien Raveau.
Weber State's seven-man roster has a 2-5 mark overall and 1-1 in conference as well, coming off a weekend against Montana State where they lost 3-4. Weber State's eighth match overall will be against the Eagles on Saturday.
Last time Eastern faced Weber State in the 2017 season, the Eagles came out on top with a 4-3 victory.
