Men's Tennis Falls to UC Irvine 6-1

Eastern concludes play in California on Sunday (March 31) at San Diego

IRVINE, Calif.-- The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team competed against UC Irvine today (March 28) to a loss of 6-1. After today's match, the Eagles now have an overall record of 3-10 and 1-4 in Big Sky Conference play.

"Like I said before today's match, this was going to be a close one," said head coach Steve Clark. "We had a chance to win the doubles point, and we also had chances to win tiebreakers in the third sets during two matches. Jeremy Field did a great job in regaining momentum after letting some momentum slip. We have to get better at taking avenge of situations."
