Eagles Close Season with 5-2 Victory over Idaho

The team finishes their 2019 schedule with five wins and an overall record of 5-14

CHENEY, Wash.-- The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team finished up the 2019 season with a victory over neighboring Idaho 5-2 today (April 20). The Eagles finish the 2019 campaign with an overall record of 5-14 and 3-7 in Big Sky Conference play.

"Well, it's always good to finish your last home match with the win," said head coach Steve Clark. "I'm really happy for Jeremy Field as he ended his senior year winning in singles and doubles. That's pretty cool. His opponent was extremely talented so that was a fight to the finish in three sets. Also, I was impressed with Manuel Balce, who once again found a way to win in a third set and Wout Doumen and Jeremy Mueller took care of business as well."
