SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team was defeated in its first Big Sky Conference match of the 2020 season today (Jan. 24) after falling to the Sacramento State Hornets 5-2 in Sacramento, Calif. The Eagles now have a 0-2 overall record and are 0-1 in the conference while the Hornets advance to 1-1 overall with a 1-0 conference record.
"I liked the level of intensity my players showed today, but we still have work to do," said head coach
Jared Burnham. "We had some good matches. I am happy to come home with the two victories from today."
