Â
Kem is a sophomore out of Renton, Wash., who ran as the backbone for the Eagle midfield playing primarily at the holding position this season. This is the fourth Big Sky honor of her career after earning Newcomer of the Year and being named to the first team as a freshman as well as a first team selection during the shortened 2021 spring season.
Â
Kem tied for the team lead in goals this season with three, including two game-winners. She notched the second goal against Idaho State in a 3-1 away victory and scored two goals against Southern Utah in a 2-0 shutout home win. She played and started in all 17 matches, logging 1,432 minutes.
Â

She earns the second All-Big Sky honor of her career after being an essential component to the Eagle backline. Since joining the EWU program, King has made an immediate impact for the Eagles, starting all 17 games she appeared in and logging nearly 1,471 minutes this season. Additionally, she slotted two shots on goal, and also helped the EWU defense collect four shutouts.
Â
Winston is a senior that hails from Pasco, Wash., and has been an undying strength in between the posts for the Eagles. Leaving as one of the best goalkeepers in program history, Winston holds Eastern Washington's career record in shutouts with 22, logging over 6,000 minutes in front of the net, the most-ever by an EWU keeper.
After five seasons for EWU, she leaves with a save percentage of .797 to rank second all-time after 334 career saves, which marks third in the record book. This season, Winston added an assist in her stat column after dishing a brilliant ball to
Taylor Matheny against CSU Bakersfield at home. Additionally, Winston played and started in 16 matches this season, logging nearly 1,450 minutes and collecting four shutouts.
Â
Rounding out the selections is Elder-Hammond, who earns her second All-Big Sky honor of her career after being named to the second team in 2019 as a sophomore. This season, along with her defensive compatriot
Jordyn King, Elder-Hammond was instrumental on EWU's defense, helping record four shutouts in 17 matches played. She recorded 1,503 minutes and scored one goal while serving two assists.
