PORTLAND, Ore. – The Eastern Washington University men's tennis squad fell to the Portland Pilots today (Feb. 19) to a score of 7-0 at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center in Portland, Ore. The Eagles fall to an overall record of 0-5 as they move through non-conference play with one match left before Big Sky Conference matches begin.
"Today we faced some tough competition. Portland is a really good team and they are very well coached," said head coach
Jared Burnham. "We battled for every last point and we learned a couple of things along the way. I am looking forward to facing another tough program tomorrow against Oregon, and applying what we learned today."
