PULLMAN, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team competed against Arizona today (March 16) and fell 7-0 in a neutral site in Pullman, Wash. The Eagles move to a 3-6 overall record while Arizona moves to 9-6 overall.
"Arizona played really tough today. We battled hard and we had some close moments. I was especially pleased with doubles play. We came out with great energy and had great points," said head coach

Jennifer Kida played a really strong match at No.2 singles and had two very close sets. Ultimately, we want to work on belief in the pressure situations. This was a really good match to play and I'm proud of the team for wanting to learn from tough losses."

The Eagles face Washington State for a doubleheader on Saturday, March 20 and then one match against Lewis-Clark State on Sunday, March 21. On Saturday, the first match is set to begin at 11 a.m. Pacific time and the second at 3 p.m. PT in Pullman, Wash. On Sunday, the match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PT in Lewiston, Idaho.
