CHENEY, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University men's tennis squad travels to face Montana State this Friday, April 16 at 2 p.m. Pacific time in Bozeman, Mont., before concluding regular season play at Montana the following day on April 17 at 11 a.m. PT in Missoula, Mont.
The Eagles currently hold an 0-11 overall and an 0-2 Big Sky Conference record.

Jeremy Mueller currently holds a two-match winning streak at the No.6 singles spot after defeating Omaha in singles play (7-5, 6-3) and collecting the lone singles point in EWU's previous match against conference foe Idaho (4-6, 6-2, 11-9).
Montana State is led by head coach Trey Morris, who enters his second season at the helm, currently leads his squad to a 3-8 overall and 0-2 conference record with two victories over Idaho State and one against Seattle. The Bobcats are returning after falling to Idaho 4-3 at home, as they look to host EWU and then Montana for their final two regular season matches.
The Eagles hold an all-time series record of 7-34 against the Bobcats with their last victory dated back to February of 2018 when Eastern hosted Montana State for a 5-2 victory.
Montana is led by head coach Jason Brown, who enters his fourth season at the helm and currently leads his team to a 7-10 overall and an even 1-1 conference record after defeating Idaho (4-3) in its last match. Montana fell to conference opponent Portland State (6-1) earlier this season, as they look to finish regular play against EWU and Montana State, respectively.
The Eagles hold an all-time series record of 6-48 and won their last match against the Grizzlies back in April of 2019 in which EWU hosted UM to a 5-2 victory.
