CHENEY, Wash.-- The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team heads out for a road trip to Flagstaff, Ariz., on Mar. 6 to face Northern Arizona at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. The Eagles return to the court with an overall record of 2-7 and 0-3 in Big Sky play.

Eastern is currently coming off a two-match road trip against two conference opponents last weekend. They faced Weber State last Friday and fell by a score of 1-6. They also faced Idaho State inside Reed Gym and fell 7-0. Despite the two deficits, the Eagles saw some success in singles play with
Erik Sarlvik, who found victory against Weber State after taking down his opponent in two sets at the No. 3 spot (7-5, 6-4).
KNOWING YOUR OPPONENT: Northern Arizona
NAU has an overall record of 10-4 and they have yet to compete in conference play this season. The Lumberjacks are led by head coach Maciej Bogusz, who is in his second season at the helm, while entering his fourth season in charge of the men's tennis team. Additionally, NAU returns sophomore Maciej Ziomber and junior Alex Groves, who each have 10 singles wins under their belts and both hold a three-match winning streak in singles play.
The Eagles have an all-time series record of 5-13 against the Lumberjacks and will be looking to snap a six-match losing streak.
