Eastern Washington men's tennis team completed its home schedule on Thursday afternoon, falling 5-2 to Sacramento State. Manuel Balce and Steven Paz each won in their singles match at the No. 3 and No. 5 spots respectively. 

Balce battled Patric Wong in a contested two-set match, winning both 7-5. Paz cruised in his match against Rudolfs Aksenoks with 6-1 and 6-2 set wins. Bruno Ortega battled at the No. 6 spot but came up short against Hayden Rand in three sets.

The Eagles were also celebrating Senior Day for the final home contest, honoring Jeremy Mueller, Wout Doumen, Manuel Balce, and Prabhdeep Sangha pre-match. Eastern now falls to 2-14 this season and 0-8 in conference matches. The Eagles are currently ninth in the Big Sky conference standings.
