Eastern Washington men's tennis team completed its home schedule on Thursday afternoon, falling 5-2 to Sacramento State.
Manuel Balce and
Steven Paz each won in their singles match at the No. 3 and No. 5 spots respectively.Â
Balce battled Patric Wong in a contested two-set match, winning both 7-5. Paz cruised in his match against Rudolfs Aksenoks with 6-1 and 6-2 set wins.
Bruno Ortega battled at the No. 6 spot but came up short against Hayden Rand in three sets.
The Eagles were also celebrating Senior Day for the final home contest, honoring

Prabhdeep Sangha pre-match. Eastern now falls to 2-14 this season and 0-8 in conference matches. The Eagles are currently ninth in the Big Sky conference standings. Â
