LEWISTON, Idaho – Eastern Washington University men's tennis team battled Lewis-Clark State College today and found a 4-3 victory on the road at the LCSC Tennis Center. Following the fixture, the Eagles improve to 2-4 overall with their first Big Sky Conference match around the corner.
EWU fought hard in doubles play but fell to LCSC in all three matches, giving up the doubles point. However, the Eagles would make the comeback, winning four out of six single play matches.
The victories saw
Steven Paz defeating Dan Felker at the No. 1 spot and
Tyler Dalos winning at No. 4 over Itaru Kikuchi.
Drew Dillon took down Austin Swing at No. 5 and
Bruno Ortega found success at No. 6.
