Eastern Washington men's tennis team traveled to Idaho today (Feb. 12) for its first Big Sky Conference match and fell 6-1 at the Kibbie Dome. The Eagles sit with an overall 2-5 record and 0-1 in conference as they look to return home for a non-conference match next Friday.
EWU dropped the doubles point to UI but fought hard to collect a few solid swings.
Erik Sarlvik and
Caden Kammerer teamed up at No. 1 doubles but fell short 6-4.
Drew Dillon partnered with
Tyler Dalos which saw the duo collect five game wins before losing the match 7-5.
Bruno Ortega collected the solo point in singles play for the Eagles after a comeback in set two, he won the tiebreaker, 10-9.
