Eastern Washington University women's tennis faced Washington State today, Feb. 24 in Pullman, Wash., and fell to the score of 7-0 at the Simmelink Tennis Courts this afternoon. The Eagles move to a 2-3 overall record and look to strike even with a non-conference home match this Sunday.
"I was very happy with how we competed today. The results did not go our way, but we really had great energy and we played in the moment with good intensity," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We gave our best effort from start to finish. We will continue to work on getting healthy and committing when we have the lead and when the score is close in matches. We look forward to another tough home match on Sunday when we welcome Saint Mary's to Cheney."
