Eastern Washington men's tennis competed in Logan, Utah on Friday morning (Feb. 3) against Utah State. The Aggies defeated the Eagles, 7-0, sweeping the doubles and singles matches. Eastern is now 1-3 on the season and Utah State improves to 1-2.
Singles
Tyler Dalos took the court in the No. 4 singles sport against Nuno Pinheiro. After dropping the first set, 3-6, Dalos rallied to win the second, 6-3. Pinheiro would prevail in the match with a 6-3 win in the third set.
Erik Sarlvik was in the No. 3 spot, facing Roko Savin. Sarlvik fell in the first set, 2-6, but competed tough in the second, coming up short 4-6.
In the No. 6 position,
Drew Dillon dropped sets to Christian Holmes, 2-6 and 3-6.\
