Eastern Washington men's tennis was not able to steal a win on the road against the Utah Utes today (Feb. 5). The Eagles' record now drops to 1-4 on the season, while Utah improves to 3-2.
Singles
At the No. 1 spot,
Steven Paz faced Geronimo Busleiman. Paz dropped the first set, 3-6, but battled to the end in the second. The sophomore tied the set up at six and forced Busleiman into the tie breaker. Despite a strong effort from Paz, Busleiman prevailed 7-4 in the tie breaker.
In the No. 3 position,
Erik Sarlvik met Bruno Caula, falling 5-7 in the first set and 3-6 in the second.
