In the team's first match at home in over a month, Eastern Washington men's tennis fell to North Dakota, 5-2, on Saturday evening (March 18). The Eagles grabbed two singles wins but fell in the other four matchups against the Fighting Hawks. Eastern drops to 3-7 on the season, while UND improves to 15-4.
At the No. 4 spot,
Caden Kammerer delivered a commanding win, topping Nikita Snezhko, 6-4, 6-2 for Eastern's first win of the day.
Bruno Ortega, playing in the No. 6 position, defeated Jayho Hong 6-4, 6-1 to get the win for the Eagles.
In the No. 5 spot,
Drew Dillon battled tough against Riley Odell, coming up short in the tiebreaker, 10-8.
