Eastern Washington men's tennis hosted Idaho State at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse this morning (April 14). The Bengals won the match, 6-1 over the Eagles following a win in doubles and five singles victories. Eastern falls to 0-5 in the Big Sky and 4-11 on the season, while Idaho State improves to 2-5 in conference and 8-13 overall.

Bruno Ortega emerged with a win at the No. 5 singles spot, defeating Wikus Robbertse in two sets (6-2, 6-4).

At the No. 2 spot, Caden Kammerer battled tough against Patrick Kristensen but fell short in three sets (3-6, 6-4, 4-6).
