The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team takes on its final challenge in non-Big Sky Conference play as they travel to Boise, Idaho this Saturday, April 8 to face Boise State at 4 p.m. Pacific Time. The Eagles sit 4-9 overall and 0-4 in conference play headed into the weekend.

Eastern returns following a 7-0 deficit at home last weekend to Northern Arizona. Although the Eagles were shutout, they found some success in doubles play with with
Steven Paz and
Erik Sarlvik defeating Daniel Dillon and Dominik Buzonics 6-4. Paz also swung well in singles, winning his second set, 6-2 but came up short in the final set.
Boise State holds a 16-4 overall and 2-0 Mountain West Conference record with a nine-match win streak. They are led by Luke Shields who enters his second year at the helm. Additionally, Shields is a former Boise State men's tennis All-American and associate head coach.
