Foshee earns Big Sky Honorable Mention

The junior had a 62.5% winning percentage in conference matches

FARMINGTON, Utah — With a strong junior season, Isabell Foshee was named an All-Big Sky singles honorable mention, announced by the conference today.  

Foshee posted a 5-3 record in Big Sky singles matches, going 9-10 overall this season. 

The Encinitas, Calif. native played primarily at the No. 4 and No. 5 spot, while also appearing at 3 and 6. She held a 4-3 record at No. 5 and 4-5 at 4. 

Foshee closed the 2023-24 season with a 6-4 record in her last 10 matches, along with a two-match winning streak. 

Against Montana State, Foshee played at No. 4 and defeated Angel Bean in three sets (4-6, 6-2, 6-3), helping the Eagles to a 4-2 home win. In Eastern's 5-2 win over Montana in Missoula, Foshee won at the No. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-3 over Ivayla Mitkova. 

EWU nearly upended Gonzaga in non-conference (3-4), with Foshee winning at 4 in three sets (2-6, 6-1, 6-4) over Tiegan Aitken. 

Foshee also finished with a 8-11 record in doubles, going 3-5 in conference, playing alongside Scout Mathews
