IRVING, Tx. — Eastern Washington football maintained its standard of academic excellence with seven student-athletes earning National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honors Society recognition.
The seven Eagles earning the academic recognition include Dylan Conner, Landon Cooper, Aidan Corning, Noah Cronquist, Landon Ogles, Trevor Thurman and Nolan Ulm
Student-athletes qualify for the NFF Hampshire Honor Society for maintaining a 3.2 GPA throughout their college careers. Each student-athlete must also be a starter or a significant contributor during the season. EWU's group is part of the 2,596 student-athletes included in the 2026 Honor Society class.
Ulm completed his Eastern career in the fall and finished with 117 receptions, 1330 yards, and 11 touchdowns for his career. He was selected to the AFCA Good Works Team and also named a semifinalist for the

Ogles earned a Big Sky honorable mention and two Special Teams Player of the Week awards as a senior. He led the conference in punts inside the 20-yard line (25) and 50-plus yard punts (16). Ogles was another Eagle who earned Academic All-District from CoSIDA.

During the season, Cooper had 22 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns - tied for 20th in the Big Sky. He was tied for the team lead in touchdowns, while ranking sixth in yards and seventh in receptions. Cooper earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors earlier this year.
Connor also ended his career with a Big Sky honorable mention after starting nine games for the Eagles at left tackle. He played in 23 career games for Eastern with 12 total starts. Conner earned CoSIDA All-District honors to begin 2026.
Cronquist took over the returning man role for EWU this past season, averaging 11.2 punt return yards and 23.4 kick return yards. He ranked third and sixth in the Big Sky in the two categories, respectively. Cronquist was also a weapon at receiver, making 32 receptions for 374 yards and one touchdown. He made 11 starts for EWU in his final season.

He made 4.0 for a loss and registered 1.5 sacks, adding one WB hurry and one pass break up. Thuramn adds to his academic success, earning CoSIDA Academic All-District honors.
Corning was a steady presence on the Eastern offensive line this season, playing in nine games and making seven starts. Corning played in 12 games during his Eastern career after transferring from Butte College.
