CHENEY, Wash. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of its 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by men's college basketball programs and student-athletes across the nation.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award honors programs that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student-athletes who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better.

Presented annually, the awards celebrate academic success at every level of collegiate men's basketball.

"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."

Eastern Washington earned the Team Academic Excellence Award after finishing the academic year with a team GPA above 3.0. Additionally, eight Eagles were named to the NABC Honors Court: Alton Hamilton IV, Andrew Cook, Elijah Thomas, Emmett Marquardt, Jojo Anderson, Maddox Monson, Shaumba Ngoyi and Straton Rogers.
