EWU Track and Field achieves success in three locations

Several Eagles moved up the Big Sky leaderboard as the conference indoor championships approach

SEATTLE, Wash. / ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. / SPOKANE, Wash. — Eastern Washington University Track and Field put a bow on another weekend of competition on Saturday as the split squad wrapped up meets at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. and Whitworth Invitational at The Podium in downtown Spokane, Wash.

"What a weekend!" said EWU Director of Track and Field Erin Tucker. "My staff did an amazing job managing three locations for the last two days. It was another weekend of season-bests and PRs against the best competition we'll see all indoor season."

The three meets represent the final competitions EWU will have before the Big Sky Indoor Championships in Moscow, Idaho on Feb. 23-24.

"The effort is there and now it is Conference Championship time… my favorite time of the year!"
