CHENEY, Wash. – Isaiah Moses has been named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week following a stellar stretch of performances to open the 2025–26 season. The redshirt senior from Anchorage, Alaska, has been a steady force for the Eagles, delivering poise, playmaking, and defensive energy against a demanding non-conference slate.
Moses shined in three consecutive road games against top competition, highlighted by a 30-point outing in Eastern Washington's overtime battle at Colorado. He added five assists and two rebounds and two steals in that matchup, controlling tempo and attacking confidently against a Big 12 opponent. Earlier in the week, he scored 15 points in back-to-back games versus No. 12 UCLA and Loyola Marymount, showcasing his consistency and two-way impact. Against UCLA, Moses guided the offense with four assists while maintaining efficiency against one of the nation's premier defenses, and he followed with five steals and timely baskets at LMU to help the Eagles stay within striking distance late.
A dynamic playmaker and vocal leader, Moses has quickly established himself as one of the Big Sky's top guards. His ability to create for teammates, pressure the ball defensively, and rise to the occasion in big moments has set the tone for a balanced and competitive Eastern Washington squad. This marks Moses's first Big Sky weekly honor and reflects the confidence and control he's brought to the Eagles early in the season.
